Just like in the UAAP, Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) has also scored a "3-peat" in the Bar Exam.
For three years now, the Bar Examination topnotcher is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University Law School. Actually, every year starting in 2010 up to the latest bar exam in 2012, the 1st and 2nd topnotchers were both from Ateneo.
During the Bar Exam 2010, Ateneo's Cesario Antonio Singzon Jr was the topnotcher, followed by Filemon Ray Javier also from Ateneo in 2nd Place. Then for the Bar Exam 2011 results, another Ateneans in the Top 2: Raoul Angelo Atadero and Luz Danielle Bolong.
And for the Bar Exam held last October 2012, the topnotcher is Ignatius Michael "Mickey" Ingles, with a score of 85.64%, and in 2nd place is Catherine Beatrice King Kay, also from Ateneo, with 84.72%.
And take note, all the 1st placers (Singzon, Atadero, Ingles) came from Ateneo de Manila High School Batch 2002 and all were also in the same section during their 4th year in high school.
Over-all, Ateneo Law School now has a total of 21 bar topnotchers (1st placers), while UP Law School still has the most with 46.
6 from Ateneo made it to the latest Bar Exam Top 10, 4 came from UP and 1 from the Aquinas University of Legazpi.
