Unlike the first 2 years of MYX VJ Search when there were 4 winners, this year's MYX VJ Search only has two grand winners (1 male and 1 female).

Last night, October 15, MYX has welcomed two new additions to their growing family of video jockeys.

Nelsito 'Nel' Gomez, 19-year-old Fil-Colombian student, and Janine Marie Campos Ramirez, a 22-year-old marketing specialist were declared MYX VJ Search 2009 winners at SM North EDSA Annex.

They won over 9 other energetic, witty and charismatic finalists.

The two immediately wrote on Twitter what they feel about their victory.

"I just won the MYX VJ Search! I love you Lord, mom and everyone! YAHOO!," Nel happily announced to his Twitter followers.

While Janine also has nothing but thanks for everyone: "Thank you everyone!!! I'm thrilled but I'll miss the whole search experience. To my fellow finalists, I'll work extra extra hard for you guys."

Now VJ Nel and VJ Janine, the two have already started today their very first assignment as MYX newest VJs and that is hosting the MYX Daily Top 10.

The other finalists such as Andrea 'Andi' Eigenmann, Kevin LapeƱa, Theresa Fenger aka Lana Roi; Miki Hahn, Jade Sison, Ant Santos, Mike Morente and Kristoff 'Toff' Tiozon (left photo), also graced the show today as their final guesting.

Kristoff was the most popular among the text voters, but it was only 30% of their final scores.

The 70% came from the scores by the staff and officers of MYX.

Congrats to Nel and Janine!
