NBA Finals 2017: GSW wins championship, Lebron James congratulates Finals MVP Kevin Durant with a tight hug

NBA Finals 2017 Game 5 is taking place now at the ORACLE Arena, the home court of the Golden State Warriors who currently lead the series vs the Cleveland Cavaliers at 3-1. Will GSW win the championship this Game 5? Or CLE will win and extend the series to Game 6? Let's all find that out, as it airs live via ABS-CBN on Free TV and Basketball TV on cable.

Scores at end of the 1st Quarter were 37-33, in favor of the Cavs.

At halftime, the Warriors now leading by 11 points. 60-71. Biggest lead of the game so far was 17points, hit during 1:09 of the 2nd Quarter (52-69).

Leading scorers for the Cavs at halftime were Lebron James (21pts), Kyrie Irving (16pts) and JR Smith (13pts). For GSW on the other hand, Kevin Durant had 21, Stephen Curry close behind with 20 and Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala both having 8pts.

In the 3rd Quarter, Warriors' lead was down to just 4pts (86-90) at 3:33.

With 3:14 remaining in the 3rd, GSW still leads. 86-93

End of 3rd Quarter: 93-98

4TH QUARTER now. Cavs still trailing behind. 102-112

With just 4:08 minutes left, GSW leads bx 14. 108-22.

Game 5 ended with the Golden State Warriors being named as the NBA Finals 2017 Champions! 120-129
