Jon Avila looks every inch a superhero as he plays the title role in Mars Ravelo's Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom.

The ever lucky Jay-R Siaboc (as Lance) will be Jon's human counterpart and lovely Maja Salvador (as Melody) will be their leading lady.

The series will also be the 1st regular show of controversial Brazilian model and newest Star Magic talent Mariana del Rio.

Kapitan Boom, which airs on April 19, 2008 replacing I Am KC, also stars Gloria Sevilla, Bembol Roco, Thou Reyes, Joyce So, Robert Villar and many more.
