Anton Paolo Antenorcruz continues to impress on Tawag ng Tanghalan, and has just been named today as the defending champion for the 2nd time. But did you know, this good-looking crooner was once married to another man?

Dubbed as the "Cabin Crooner ng Paranaque", the handsome Anton stepped on the Tawag ng Tanghalan stage yesterday singing the songs 'Forevermore' (scored 94.4%) and 'Sana Maulit Muli' (scored 96.8%), earning a standing ovation from the judges and easily gained many fans.

Today, he defended his title and was given again a standing ovation after his amazing performance of 'Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan'. It was scored 96.2%.

While the introduction for him on TNT didn't mention anything about his love life, a video of the 25-year-old flight attendant can be found on Youtube where he is shown getting married to another man. Below are screenshots from the said video.

The gay wedding happened here in the Philippines almost 5 years ago, December 13, 2012 to be exact. The guy Anton got married with was 13 years older than him, named John Carasig, a Filipino-Australian flight attendant who joined MasterChef Australia and made it to the Top 12.

Watch their wedding video, where you can also spot Pinoy Big Brother's bisexual ex-housemate Fifth Solomon.

The two sadly parted ways a few months later.

Anton was only 20 years old then, just months after joining X Factor Philippines' first and only season, where he finished in the Top 20 along with Michael Pangilinan. The grand winner of that competition was KZ Tandingan. - Mykiru.ph
