Maja Salvador 'Twerk It Like Miley' video hits 3M views as "Twerking" makes it to Oxford English Dictionary

It isn't impossible that the said worldwide-trending performance of Maja Salvador and Enrique Gil on ASAP 20 will eventually become one of the most-viewed Youtube videos by 2015 year-end.

Maja's super hot twerking absolutely contributed much as to why her performance video went viral online. She owned it! She did it her own way actually and it worked, especially for her male fans who for sure are not gonna get tired of watching the video again and again.

And as Maja's twerking video nears 3 million views, news came out that around 500 new words have entered Oxford English Dictionary, and it includes the words "twerk" and "twerking".

Based on its June 2015 (2nd Quarter) Update, Oxford English Dictionary claims that the word "twerk" dates back to the year 1820 with original spelling of "twirk".

Other new additions are autotune, Blue-ray, cisgender, double-double, incharge, H2O, JavaScript, kryptonite, North Korean, netbook, pageview, photobomb, unconventional and a lot more.

Also making it to OED's list of new words this June 2015 are many words from the Filipino or Philippine language, such as mabuhay, gimmick, estafa, barkada, carnap, presidentiable, balikbayan, barong tagalog, buko, halo-halo, batchmate and several others.
