San Mig Coffee wins Game 7 vs Ginebra, advances to PBA Philippine Cup 2014 Finals

San Mig Coffee Mixers secured a slot in PBA Philippine Cup 2014
Finals after a Game 7 win versus Barangay Ginebra Kings earlier tonight, February 12, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tonight's game which was aired live on TV5 and with a record crowd of 24,883 wrapped up the semifinals of the 2014 PBA Philippine Cup, and San Mig Coffee Mixers will face Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters in a Best of 7 finals starting this Valentine's Day, February 14.

Both Ginebra and San Mig Coffee were very determined to win Game 7. The Gin Kings did well but the Mixers played better.

As of halftime, scores were 44-57, already a 13-point lead by San Mig Coffee.

San Mig's James Yap was probably so inspired to play tonight after ex-wife Kris Aquino wished him good luck last night and has allowed
him to celebrate his 32nd birthday with son Bimby James this Saturday.

In first half alone, He hit four 3-point shots and tallied big 24 points. He scored 10 of those in the 1st quarter and 14 in the 2nd quarter.

He finished the game with 30 points and was named Best Player of the game.
