MMFF 2013 Box Office Results as of Jan. 3, 2014 show that 'My Little Bossings' and 'Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy' both already have grosses of over P300 million.

The producers of these two (2) entries have confirmed that their respective films have already crossed the P300-million mark as of this posting, within 10 days since the festival started last December 25.

'My Little Bossings' which stars Vic Sotto, Kris Aquino, James 'Bimby' Aquino Yap and Ryzza Mae Dizon reached the P300M mark as of January 2, 2014 or after 9 days in theaters.

Meanwhile, ''Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy'' star Vice Ganda himself happily announced the good news on 'It's Showtime' today, January 3, that his movie already joined the P300M club. It was followed by a confirmation from Star Cinema thru its social media accounts that the movie indeed passed P300M at 1PM on January 3.

That just means, Vice now has 3 films which grossed above P300M ('The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin', 'Sisterakas' and now 'Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy') more than any other actor in the Philippines.

Aside from the 4 films mentioned above, the Sarah Geronimo-John Lloyd Cruz starrer 'It Takes a Man and a Woman' also grossed more than P300M last Summer.

No Pinoy movies however have crossed the P400M mark and it looks like the two (2) MMFF 2013 entries are going to hit it by the end of the festival, and one will ultimately wind up as the new all-time top-grossing Pinoy film. Which movie do you think will own that record?

MMDA has also announced that as of January 3, the combined grosses for all 8 entries tallied at P815-million, breaking the previous "all-time high" record of P608-million grosses during the 2012 MMFF.
