Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 has just been held in China.
Got a confirmation from Mr. Sean Chia, Vice President of the Miss Tourism Queen International pageant that a former Miss World 2011 candidate Miss Latvia Alise Miškovska is indeed the Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 winner during the finals held last night, October 3, 2013, in Xianning, China. She also won as Miss Friendship.
Miss South Africa Roxzelle Rheeder was named 1st Runner Up, Miss Guangzhou China Tan Shiyu is next as 2nd Runner Up, Miss Korea Na Ran Hi is 3rd RU, and Miss Portugal Ana Bomfim as the 4th Runner Up.
The special awardees, other than Miss Latvia (Miss Friendship):
Best in Evening Gown - Miss Japan
Miss Bikini of the World – Miss Slovakia
Miss Talent – Miss Ukraine
Best in National Costume – Miss Taiwan
Miss Photogenic – Miss Romania
Miss Personality – Miss Myanmar Khin La Pyae Zaw
Miss Press Princess – Miss Namibia
Miss Charm – Miss Finland
Miss Elegant – Miss Armenia
Best Smile – Miss Singapore
Four tourism ambassador titles were also given out.

Miss Tourism Ambassador of Asia – Inner Mongolia
Miss Tourism Ambassador of Europe - Miss Greece
Miss Tourism Ambassador of Oceania – Miss New Zealand
Congratulations to Miss Philippines Cindy Miranda for making it to the Top 10. She may not have won the crown, not like Mutya Datul in Miss Supranational 2013 and Megan Young in Miss World 2013 last month, placing in the Top 10 is already something, especially that it was held in China.
