Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013 grand coronation Friday night at the NBC Tent had Koreen Medina being crowned as the Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific 2013, who will soon represent the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental 2013 pageant in Egypt later this year.

18-year-old Koreen Medina, a Mass Communication student, represented Quezon City and won over 30 other lovely candidates. An obvious favorite, she also took home 4 special awards, the most by any candidate this year: Best in Talent, Mutya ng Sheridan, Mutya ng Zen institute and Mutya ng Lancaster Hotel Manila.

Her name sounds familiar to you right? Koreen Medina was the grand winner of "My Girl" beauty contest last year in the defunct ABS-CBN variety show 'Happy Yipee Yehey'. She already auditioned and made it to the "Judges Cull" on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 in 2011 at age 15, was the Grand Champion of Coca-Cola Music Talent Search the same year and already appeared in 3 episodes of 'Maalaala Mo Kaya' on ABS-CBN. Just recently, she joined, but failed, the blind audition of "The Voice of the Philippines".

As the crown winner, Koreen took home 1-million prize package. (She's getting richer and richer. She got a million cash, a brand new car and a diamong ring worth P100,000 as "My Girl" grand winner.)

Angeli Dione Gomez meanwhile was the one crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism 2013, the other big title handed out during the coronation night.

The Cebuana beauty, who was a clapper at the Binibining Pilipinas 2013 pageant earlier this year, will compete in the Miss Tourism International 2013 pageant in Malaysia on 2014 New Year's Eve. The current Miss Tourism International titleholder is our very own Rizzini Alexis Gomez.

Here's the official results of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013, which will be telecast on GMA 7 today, July 28, at 10AM.
