Miami Heat wins Game 7 vs Indiana Pacers, 76-99, heads to NBA Finals 2013 vs San Antonio Spurs

The NBA Playoffs 2013 Eastern Conference Finals - Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat - came to a wrap. Who won a spot in the NBA Finals 2013 and will face the San Antonio Spurs?

The decisive Game 7 between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat happened Monday night, June 3, 2013, at Miami's American Airlines Arena (June 4, Tuesday morning, MLA time).

It wasn't the kind of Game 7 that I expected and definitely won't be a Game 7 classic in NBA history.

The Miami Heat was already winning as of halftime, 37-52.

Less than 5 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter, Miami Heat were already leading by 17 points, 49-66, their biggest lead in the game so far.

And it even went up to a 19-point lead 3 minutes later. 53-72 (at 1:47, 3Q).

3rd Quarter finished with 55-76, a big 21-point lead by Miami. Lebron James at this point was already nearing 30 points (so far he has 25).

Too early in the 4th quarter, Lebron scored 2 points. Miami's lead now 23. 55-78 (at 11:25, 4Q).

But the Pacers' George Hill quickly answered it with a jumper, followed by a dunk by the controversial man of the hour Roy Hibbert to put down the lead back to 19. 59-78 (at 10:36, 4Q).

4Q, 9:19 - Heat's Norris Cole made 1 of his 2 free throws, then Roy Hibbert scored again. Lead down to 18. 61-79.

Lebron James hit 30, after 1 free throw and a 2-point shot. 61-82, 8:19 of 4th quarter.

2 free throws for Heat's Chris Andersen. Miami's lead back to 23, and then another 2 free throws from Lebron to make it 25. 61-86, 6:43 4Q. King James already scored 32 points.

4Q 6:26 - Pacers struggled to make 3 point shots. Lance Stephenson made 2-point shot instead. 63-86.

6 minutes left in the game: Miami's now leading by 26 POINTS, after an amazing 3-point shot by Norris Cole.

The Pacers already lost the chance to overturn the outcome of this Game 7. Scores: 70-96, with less than 2 minutes left.

FINAL SCORES: 76-99. Miami Heat are going to the NBA 2013 Finals!

Pacers' Roy Hibbert was probably not in the mood to win tonight after he was fined $75,000 by NBA for his anti-gay remark ("No homo!") which he said in an interview after Game 6 the other day. He only contributed 18 points to Pacers' 76 points. In previous games, he usually scored 20+ points.
