The San Antonio Spurs have swept the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Playoffs 2013 Western Conference Finals to take a 4-0 lead and now advance to the NBA Playoffs 2013 Finals.

The explosive Game 4 held today, May 27, 2013 (May 28 MLA Time), at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee left no opportunity for the Memphis Grizzlies to dominate the game.

Half time scores showed San Antonio Spurs were leading by 6 points, 44-38, 4 points less than their lead after the 1st Quarter.

4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and the SA Spurs were leading bigtime, 11 points, 54-48. But it was reduced to just 8 when Memphis' Quincy Pondexter made a 3-point shot with 3 min. and 27 sec. remaining.

3rd Quarter ended with 72-66, still in favor of the San Antonio Spurs.

The Memphis Grizzlies were actually picking up starting from the 2nd Quarter, and with 10:21 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, SA Spurs' lead was down to just 4 points, 75-71. And it further went down to just 3, 76-73, after a layup by Tony Allen at 9:38.

Having strong confidence coming from their 3-0 lead in the series and their unmatched determination to make a grand comeback in the NBA Playoff Finals, the San Antonio Spurs bounced back so easily during the next 2 minutes and posted an 8-point lead, 87-79.

Game 4 ended with the San Antonio Spurs now going to the NBA 2013 Finals. 93-86

The San Antonio Spurs will face whoever between the Miami Heat and Indian Pacers win the Eastern Conference Finals. As scheduled, Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers Game 4 is set for May 28, then Game 5 on the 30th, Game 6 on June 1 and finally Game 7 (if necessary) on June 3.

It's going to be the 5th time for the San Antonio Spurs to be in the NBA Playoffs Finals and whenever they make it to the finals, they emerge as champions. The team was already both a 4-time Western Conference Champions and also a 4-time NBA Playoffs Champions (during Seasons 1998–99, 2002–03, 2004–05 and 2006–07).
