American Idol Results 2013: 5 Girls, 2 Guys in the Top 7

'American Idol' 2013 Results Show aired Thursday night, March 28, 2013, (Fri AM MLA Time) had Devin Velez (photo below) as the eliminated finalist.

It looked like 3 times in the Bottom 3 is a "Bingo!". Devin Velez was in the Bottom 3 for the 3rd consecutive week and got voted off.

Lazaro Arbos and Burnell Taylor joined Devin in the Bottom 3, their first time in the bottom group.

As you notice, the Bottom 3 were all guys, and the 5 female finalists (Angie Miller, Candice Glover, Kree Harrisson, Amber Holcomb and Janelle Arthur) ranked over the guys in the voting and were the first to be called as "safe" from elimination.

With this strong voting power of the girls, and they're dominating this season's Top 7, (5 girls and only 2 guys) the chance of having a girl American Idol winner this 2013 is getting bigger and
bigger.

Though there were already 4 female winners a long time ago, girls have never been this strong on 'Idol' and it could also be a big possibility that it's going to have an all-girl showdown in the finals.

The last and only time that 2 girls battled in the finals of American Idol was during Season 3 in 2004 (Fantasia Barrino vs Diana DeGarmo).

Will it be Angie vs. Candice on American Idol 2013 Finals? Or Angie vs Kree? For me, these are the big possibilities at this point. - Mykiru.ph
