Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 Box Office Gross Report - 1st & 2nd Day

The 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012) opened strongly in the box-office with its 8 official entries collectively grossed a record P105-million during the festival's 1st Day last Tuesday, December 25, 2012.

According to the Metro Manila Film Festival committee, earning the highest during the opening day was the movie "Sisterakas" with a gross of P39.2-million. It's already the highest 1st day gross ever in the Philippines.

3. One More Try - 13.1M
4. Shake, Rattle and Roll Fourteen: The Invasion - 10.5M

6. El Presidente - P4.2M
7. Sosy Problems - P3.0M
8. Thy Womb - P0.9M

Meanwhile, the 2nd day box-office report has also been released, with almost the same ranking as the 1st day, except that 'The Strangers' and 'El Presidente' switched places.
