The last silver medal was won by Samantha Murray from Great Britain, while Brazil's Yane Marquez took home the final bronze medal.

So the results of the Women's Modern Pentathlon competition completed the 2012 London Olympics with the United States of America (USA) finishing on top having 46 gold medals, 29 silver medals and 29 bronze medals, for a total of 104 medals, just 6 medals lower than USA's total medals during the 2008 Summer Olympics, where they finished in 2nd behind China.

The Philippines and 119 other participating countries unfortunately failed to bring home at least 1 medal.
