NBA 2012 West Finals, Game 6 Live Results: San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The NBA 2012 Playoffs - Western Conference Finals Game 6 was held June 6, 2012 at Oklahoma City Thunder's home court, Chesapeake Energy Arena, and was aired live on ABS-CBN (June 7).

The OKC Thunder won as the Western Conference Finals 2012 Champions, beating the San Antonio Spurs, who from the regular season 'til the playoffs made a record 20 consecutive wins. (Their loss in Game 6 was their 4th consecutive loss.)

Based on playoffs records, OKC won all of its 7 home-court games, and the Game 6 in the Western Conference Finals vs the San Antonio Spurs was their 8th straight home-court win.


Game 6's 1st Quarter started with Spurs' Manu Ginobili scoring the 1st 3-point shot of the game. It was followed by a 2-point shot by Tim Duncan, also from Spurs.

1st Quarter ended with the score is 34-20, for SA Spurs.

As of half-time, scores were 63-48, still for Spurs.

At 8:35 in the 3rd Quarter, the Thunder were catching up as Spurs' lead was down to 10. 65-55.

And SA Spurs' lead went down to just 6, with 7:47 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter.

Spurs' lead back to 9, at 5:55.

As of 3:53, Spurs still winning, but it's now just a 2-point lead, 74-72.

With 3 minutes left in the 3rd Q, Spurs now leading by just 1 point, 77-76.

OKC Thunder's Kevin Durant scored a 3-point shot with 1:30 minutes left in 3rd, to make Thunder on the lead, 77-79.

Scores were tied at the last minute, 79-79, but the 3rd Quarter ended with Spurs only leading by 1 point, 81-80.

4th Quarter scores were 84-85 at 9:32, then it became 84-87, 84-88 and 84-90 after 3 minutes.

With 5 minutes remaining, OKC Thunder were up, 89-93.

FINAL SCORES: 99-107 for OKC, now the Champion of the NBA 2012 Playoffs - Western Conference Finals.

Kevin Durant was the Best Player, with 34 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. He was also the Best Player during their first 3 wins in the series finals (Game 3, 4 and 5).
