Korean hearth-throb Lee Min Ho returns on television with the new soap "Faith" ("Shin-Eui), airing this August on Korean TV network SBS.

Lee Min Ho will play an ancient warrior in the time-travel historical drama "Faith" and it's obviously something different than his previous roles in "Boys Over Flowers" (as Go Jun Pyo), "Perfect Match" (as Gino Jeon) and most recently, "City Hunter" (as Johnny Lee), all of which were shown here on ABS-CBN.

Expect Lee Min Ho with less clothes on in this new Koreanovela.

His new leading lady by the way is 10 years older than him. Kim Hee-Sun is already 35 years old and "Faith" will be her comeback soap after 5 years of not doing any TV projects in Korea.

Probably, Filipino viewers will recognize Kim Hee-sun as the lead star of "Sad Love Song" which was aired on GMA 7 in 2006. She already played Jackie Chan's leading lady in the Hong Kong 2005 movie "The Myth".

We'll see how the new tandem of Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee-sun will work in "Faith", and probably we have to wait until 2013 before it gets shown here in the Philippines.

Let's hope ABS-CBN will again be interested to air this new Koreanovela starring Lee Min Ho, and I'm sure they will be going after it already as early as now. Or else... © www.mykiru.ph
