John Apacible was shot dead Sunday morning in Cainta, Rizal.

John Apacible sexy photoGMA News reported that Apacible whose real name is Enrique Rustia Apacible III was shot by his own uncle identified as Armando Rustia and sustained two gunshot wounds in the chest.

He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

An ABS-CBN report meanwhile states that John and his uncle were drinking together before it led to a heated argument. The suspect's wife alleged that it was John who first attacked his uncle and the latter only acted in self-defense.

John was 38 years old.

John Apacible was a model and a varsity player from Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA) in Quezon City before he became a famous sexy actor in the 90's.

He was best known in films like "Nights of Serafina", "Phone S-x" with Ara Mina, "Shame: Bakit Ako Mahihiya?" with Ina Raymundo and in the 'Telebisyon' episode of "Shake, Rattle & Roll VI".

His most recent projects included "Darna" and "Totoy Bato" on GMA 7, and the ABS-CBN newest soap "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" where he was portraying the role of Lt. Col. Santiago.

But I think you'll remember him most recently as Atty. Mark, the main villain on "Your Song Presents: Maling Akala" which starred Kim Chiu and Ai-Ai delas Alas.
