An online petition and a number of Facebook pages are calling for
ABS-CBN to just let Willie Revillame resign (if not fire) from
Wowowee.
It's still in connection with Willie's outburst on Wowowee last May 4,
when he threatened to resign from the show if ABS-CBN management won't
fire Jobert Sucaldito, who has been criticizing Willie.
The online petition "ABS-CBN: Fire Willie Revillame and/or Accept his
Resignation" has started drawing signatures already asking ABS-CBN to
remove Willie from Wowowee. You can find the petition here:

Meanwhile, there are so many Facebook groups and fan pages already
asking Willie to quit Wowowee. One page titled "LET WILLIE REVILLAME
RESIGN ON ABS-CBN!!!" now has more than 4,000 members as of 4pm today.
Remember in August, 2009, there was also a petition online to oust
Willie from Wowowee, after Willie commanded on TV to remove the live
coverage of Former Pres. Cory Aquino's funeral procession from the TV
screen while he was hosting Wowowee.
It solicited 75,768 signatures, but proved unsuccessful as apologetic
Willie returned to the show. He even promised not to be hot-headed
again.
Tomorrow on Wowowee, known supporters of Willie's presidential bet
Manny Villar will be guesting in the show such as Ara Mina, April
'Boy' Regino, Andrew E. and more. Will Willie have a grand comeback
tom?
It seems like Willie Revillame will stand by what he said on Wowowee
last Tuesday that he'd resign from ABS-CBN if the latter won't fire
Jobert Sucaldito.
Since yesterday, Willie hasn't gone back to Wowowee yet. Reportedly,
the host is 'on leave' from the show.
Willie fearlessly said to ABS-CBN News that he's not afraid to lose
his job. "Walang makapipigil sa akin...Natatakot ka bang mawalan ng
trabaho? Kapag magaling ka, 'di ka matatakot. Marami kukuha sa 'yo.
Bakit, iisa lang ba ang channel?"
Willie, who was once named by Yes! Magazine as the most powerful
showbiz personality, also said he'd gonna lose everything he has, but
not the principle he has.
The said interview was supposed to be aired on TV Patrol World tonight
as shown in their headlines, but it wasn't aired. According to the
anchors, "hindi umabot", "may technical problems" and "needs
editing". Alin ba talaga? I don't believe them! May pumigil kaya?
Willie, nakiusap kaya na 'wag nang i-air? Something fishy!
On Twitter, I randomly browsed tweets about Willie and unfortunately,
most of them are against Willie. Some say they would rather choose
Jobert than the arrogant Willie and want him to quit on Wowowee.

If I were to ask, it's better off if he's not on Wowowee. He has been
in full control of the show and it's about time that ABS-CBN will
exercise its power and authority by not giving in to Wil's demands.
Actually, I would be very disappointed if Willie will be back on
Wowowee. He can transfer to other networks if he wants, but not on GMA
7, coz Joey De Leon I think would also threaten to resign if that
happens. Maybe TV5 is the best option for him. To TV5: get Willie
please, now na!

'You To Me Are Everything', which stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong
Dantes, reportedly had 16 million peso gross revenues on its opening
day yesterday, May 5.
A lot of people could not believe the figure as it's too high
especially that the two's past movies didn't do well in the boxoffice.
But maybe, this is really the right time for Dong and Yan.
The figure was confirmed by a publicist of Regal Films, who
co-produced the movie with GMA Films.
If it's indeed true, then it's the 2nd highest opening this 2010 and
the 6th highest during the last 12 months. The other movies with the
Top 10 Highest Opening from May 2009 to May 2010 are: Miss You Like
Crazy, Ang Panday, Ang Darling Kong Aswang, Shake, Rattle & Roll XI,
BFF Best Friends Forever, Paano Na Kaya, Babe I Love You and Ang
Tanging Pamilya.
It's also quite a big improvement compared to Marian's last movie
'Tarot' which reportedly only had 7 million opening and the 7th lowest
grossing Pinoy film in 2009.
Dingdong-Marian first movie teamup 'One True Love' in 2008 had 10
million pesos on its 1st day.

The awarding ceremony for the 7th Golden Screen Awards or ENPRESS 2010
was held last night, May 5, and the internationally-acclaimed
'Kinatay' under Swift Productions was the big winner.
'Kinatay' won a total of 6 awards including Best Picture, Best
Director and Best Actor for my favorite Coco Martin. This is the film
that gave Brillante Mendoza his first Best Director trophy from the
Cannes Film Festival last year.
'And Panday' and 'Ded Na Si Lolo' both scored 3 awards. Here's the

Coco Martin has won last night his 2nd consecutive Best Actor trophy
from Enpress' Golden Screen Awards held at the Teatrino Greenhills.
Last year, Coco won for 'Jay' and this year, he won Best Actor for 'Kinatay'.
It's so admirable that it's Coco's 5th major award in just 8 months.
In September '09, he won Best Supporting Actor at the Gawad Urian,
then PMPC Star Awards for TV Best Drama Actor last December, Anak TV
Seal Most Admired Personality also in December and Gawad Tanglaw
Presidential Jury Award for Excellence in Acting last January.
Winning as Golden Screen 2010 Best Actress -Drama was Iza Calzado for
'Dukot'. It's already Iza's 3rd from Enpress. She won Enpress Best
Supporting Actress in 2008 and Breakthrough Actress in 2005.

Who would have thought that Marian Rivera's "psychology" statement on
TV Patrol World last night will make her an overnight Youtube
sensation?
As a Noynoy supporter, Kapuso star Marian Rivera got interviewed by a
TV Patrol World reporter on ABS-CBN.
The reporter asked Marian to comment about Noynoy's mental health and
with a beautiful smile, Marian nicely commented, "Mental health? Isa
po akong PSYCHOLOGY at wala naman akong nakikitang diperensya..."
It was shown last night on TV Patrol and it has been quickly uploaded
on Youtube even calling Marian a 'Jejemon'.
As of 1:45pm today, the said Youtube video now has 46,923 views with
more than 300 comments and among the most viewed and most discussed
videos today.
Someone has also made a Facebook page about Marian as a Psychology and
it now has more than 3,000 fans.
In defense of Marian, maybe she just forgot to include the word
'graduate'. Probably she was trying to saying "Isa po akong Psychology
gradute" or "Isa po akong graduate ng Psychology". But I don't think
she meant 'psychologist' because she's not practicing it.
How can we be too perfect? Let's not make it a big deal. It can happen
to anyone. Sometimes, we unknowingly commit mistakes out of talking
too fast or answering a question so quick.
It's actually a common mistake. Take for example someone working in an
Accounting Department. When asked 'Anong work mo?', he answered
'Accounting'.
Willie Revillame could not control his emotion on Wowowee today as he
expressed his dismay over Jobert Sucaldito.
According to Willie, he overheard Jobert on the latter's DZMM program
attacking his show Wowowee especially its Willie of Fortune segment
when it featured high school students who graduated with 75-79 general
average. Allegedly (according to Willie) Jobert was questioning why
Wowowee had to feature contestants who are "bobo".
Willie defended the show and said that they're open to any kind of
people and Jobert should not attack Wowowee because they're both
Kapamilya. He was obviously so mad at Jobert to the point that he want
him axed from ABS-CBN.
"Sa management ng ABS-CBN, kung hindi nyo sya tatanggalin,
mag-re-resign ako," said Willie.
Will ABS-CBN give in to Willie's challenge?
