Yog Medal Tally, not a priority by the organizing committee

Some people are complaining because Youth Olympic Games (YOG) official site doesn't have medal tally of the games.

In a statement, the YOG committee said that they're after achievement and excellence rather than performance thus no YOG medal tally will be done. ('Di ko gets)

What's the use of having gold, silver and bronze medals if they won't be tallied?

During Day 1 & 2, I manually made a medal tally based on the per game results provided at Yog website, but only to find out it isn't that complete. I also found it hard to look for all the games played by a particular player or country.

Good thing though that Wikipedia has the complete YOG Medal tally. And as of August 16 (after Day 2), Russia is now leading with 4 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes with a total of 11 medals, the highest so far.

China also has 4 golds but a silver and 2 bronzes less from Russia.

Host country Singapore only has 1 medal and it's a bronze while the Philippines still has no medals until now.

Philippine delegate in taekwondo only made it to the quarterfinals while the country's entry in swimming (youth men) 100m freestlyle made it to the finals but only finished 7th, 4 places shy of scoring a medal.
