Miss Philippines Universe Maria Venus Raj considers boxingchamp-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao as her inspiration.

But before Manny Pacquiao's wife Jinkee reacts, Venus just wants Manny to inspire her as she competes in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant happening in Las Vegas.
As we all know, Las Vegas is where Manny had most of his bouts, fought with the fiercest fighters and triumphed as the world's Pound-for-Pound King.
Venus paid a courtesy call on Cong. Manny yesterday as reported on TV Patrol tonight and Manny gave her a
meaningful advice: "Be CONFIDENCE in yourself.", an advice which is very essential to a beauty queen like her.
With that advice, for sure it adds CONFIDENT to Venus and she's now
more CONFIDENCE to bring home the Miss Universe 2010.
The Miss Universe 2010 pageant is happening at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on August 23.
