Carla Abellana as Rosalinda hits primetime starting Monday, July 6

Carla Abellana was just a nameless model in the Jollibee Ice Craze TVC aired in 2006.

And now that Carla has been launched as GMA's next primetime star via Rosalinda, the barely recognizable model in the said TV commercial recently turned into a promising actress now worthy of attention.

Starting on Monday, July 6, on GMA Telebabad, Carla Abellana will now be tagged as the Pinay Rosalinda and no longer the model from a TV commercial as she and Geoff Eigenmann will bring delight to the televiewers as Rosalinda and Fernando Jose in the Philippine version of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda.



Carla and Geoff make a great couple. But for sure, PBA player JC Intal wouldn't want to hear that.
