The movie Jay starring the very controversial Baron Geisler and King of Indie Films Coco Martin was hailed Best Full-Length Picture Film in the 4th Cinemalaya (Philippine Independent Film Festival) held Sunday, July 20, 2008, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Baron, who gave an "all the way" performance for the movie was adjuged Best Actor while Mylene Dizon was the Best Actress for the movie 100.
Award-winning actor Cesar Montano was one of the judges who chose this year's winners.

Best Editing: Kats Serraon, Jay
Special Jury Prize (Full Length): Brutus
Special Jury Prize (Short): My Pet
Special Jury Citation: Angan-Angan
Audience Choice Award (Full Length): 100
