The audition of Brandon Green in Dallas, who is listed #1 in the Top 50 rumored contestants that leaked last December, has just been shown on the second episode of American Idol Season 7 last night, January 16, 2008.

Brandon Green is 21 years old and hails from Lucedale in Mississippi.

During his kiddie years, Brandon was a choir member and later joined a school band playing musical instruments such as trumpet and drums.

He eventually formed his own band during his teener years.

What makes Brandon more interesting is how he incorporate the message of God in the songs he himself has composed.

To count, a total of 52 persons passed the auditions in Dallas and Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, one of the auditionees named Renaldo Lapuz, a 43 year-old Filipino, failed to pass, but his audition is an instant hit on Youtube. His original composition which goes this way "I am your brother, your best friend forever...We're brothers forever!" is already becoming a worldwide favorite.

Lyrics of We're Brothers Forever!

I am your brother
Your best friend forever
Singing the songs
The music that you like
We're brothers til the end of time
Together forever til the end of time
I am your brother
Your best friend forever
Singing the songs
The music that you like
We're brothers til the end of time
Together or not, you're always in my heart
Your hurting feelings
Will reign no more."

The audition in San Diego, California will be shown for its 3rd episode next week.
