Even if Fil-Bahraini Bader Abdullah Malabes of the De La Salle Green Archers was not declared the Most Valuable Player, he was still a big contribution to the team in snatching the UAAP Season 70 title from the University of the East Red Warriors.

Bader Malabes hottie has prevented the Warriors to score considerable points during the finals, causing them to lose the chance of winning the game.

Bader, who's only 20 years old and son of Bahrain's basketball legend Abdulla Jassim, made history when he becomes the very first Bahraini to grab a basketball championship title in the Philippines.

It can be recalled that during the middle of the UAAP Season 70, Bader had a tempting offers to play for Kuwait Club, but he turned them down.

According to him, it's a great challenge for him to play here in the Philippines, due to the the fact that basketball is of higher level in the country.

Bader is a 3rd year Sports Management student in DLSU and it seems he made the right choice of staying in the Philippines and play for the Green Archers.

But of course, the whole Bahraini community is surely proud of his accomplishment and still hoping that in time, he will play for Bahrain's national team.
