At 31, it's not too late for the Philippines' premiere singer-actress Vina Morales to be a champion in a singing competition.

Vina Morales won the grand prize in the solo category of the very first ASEAN IKON singing contest held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center in Malaysia last Aug. 12, 2007. She won over Malaysian Idol Jacklyn Victor and Judika, a finalist in Indonesian Idol.

Philippines' representative in the band or group category of the First ASEAN IKON also won the top prize, indeed a double victory for the country which is so hungry for international recognition and has just won also a top prize a week ago in the 11th World Championships of the Performing Arts in the US.

Kjwan won over OAG of Malaysia and Tahta of Indonesia. They nailed down "Invitation" and "One Look."

Here's Vina singing "Pangako Sa 'Yo," her winning piece. She captured the support of the Malaysians because of this winning song, a song very popular to them because of the ABS-CBN soap of the same title which was a huge hit in Malaysia.

She also sang and dance "Feel So Nice".
